PM QUIVER STiX

This is my little site where I write about my progress on the surfboards I make and post photos and updates on what I have been up to. I am part of a community who build Hollow Wooden Surfboards, either as a hobby, as a business, whether they are surfers, or they are just building for fun.

Many people see surfing as a natural sport using natures energy & power to provide the waves we surf. That is why many people believe this should be reflected in the boards we surf by using renewable, low impact materials. We use wood to build our boards as we are concerned about the damage being caused to the environment in the surfing industry, who are still using non-biodegradable materials.

Right now I'm in the middle of building my first HWSurfboard, an 8ft minimal designed by Rich Blundell. I have given myself 16 weeks to complete the whole project. This includes building the rocker table and shaping stands.

Lets see how it turns out...
